Lightscapes Studio Daily Adult Workshops
Artist and Instructor Gina Torello MFA presents this series of five individual, full-day intensive workshops designed for those who want to immerse themselves in creativity while building strong artistic skills. Each workshop offers focused instruction, guided demonstrations, and hands-on studio time in a relaxed and supportive environment. Participants should bring lunch and their art supplies. Each day features a different medium, and students may register for individual or multiple sessions.

Join Gina Torello for an inspiring outdoor Pastel painting class along the Manasquan Inlet, where participants paint step-by-step in scenic coastal locations like the beach, jetty, marsh grasses, and marina. Designed for intermediate artists, the class includes use of a New Wave pochade easel and chair. A Hands-On Journey Through Classic and Contemporary Methods. Whether you're just starting out or looking to sharpen your skills, this course is designed to build your confidence and expand your technique. In this six-week, hands-on course, you'll explore a variety of oil painting styles and learn methods used by the masters and contemporary artists. We’ll cover essential concepts such as Lean to fat layering, Impasto and Alla prima all while creating expressive underpaintings tailored to each composition. Mastering drawing techniques and emphasizing the importance of observation while being taught the proper techniques to become a skilled young artist. Perspective lessons achieving accuracy with proportions making and using values properly all the while creating dynamic compositions.
