We will be working directly from my personal photos of the Italian coast line from Capri to Portofino and even Venice in a very free laid back approach to painting. I will demonstrate how to free up a photos hard flat edges with out losing the depth and dimension. Breaking down the photo into values and tones to create a less ridge painting style, by seeing the positive and negative forms within. This is a new exclusive online oil painting course based off a theme. Learning the art of painting the nuances of natural light captured by my original photos will be very rewarding. I will guide you and teach you specific techniques on how to successfully master the tones and subtle shift in light that are vital for success. This will be a fun and fulfilling step by step class creating 5x7 or 6x8 oil painting studies. We will all work together from my photographs. This course is designed for all artistic levels. You will receive a video tape of each class after it is finished to watch at your leisure. I will email references for all classes.
